Kelly Kalandyk Smith

Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals 1st Circuit. She is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and the University of Connecticut where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, Honors Program. Ms. Smith's practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, representation of medical professionals before licensing and regulatory boards and general liability.

Ms. Smith has specialized in insurance defense for over 20 years. Prior to joining Foster & Eldridge, LLP, Ms. Smith worked at a Boston based firm where she focused her practice on medical malpractice defense and employment law. Ms. Smith also has experience litigating claims involving product liability, premises liability, construction defect, bad faith and unfair claims handling. Ms. Smith has tried multiple cases to verdict.

Ms. Smith is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. Ms. Smith has also served as a member of the Coalition, a program of the Tri-Town Council, a community-wide partnership of Boxford, Topsfield and Middleton, whose focus is to reduce and prevent substance abuse and abuse among youth.
