John J. Heil is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston
(B.A., magna cum laude, 2002) and University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D.,
with honors, 2005). While attending law school, he served as Executive Editor of
the Connecticut Law Review, received the CALI Excellence Award for Class
performance in Constitutional Law, and participated in the UConn Law Criminal
Clinic, Trial Division, representing defendants in both state, and federal
courts.
Prior to joining Foster & Eldridge, LLP, John practiced with a civil
litigation defense firm in Boston, Massachusetts. He is admitted to practice in
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Rhode Island, and the United
States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. His memberships include
the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bar Associations, and the Massachusetts
Defense Lawyers Association.
John’s present areas of practice are defense of Medical Malpractice cases,
Premises and General Liability, Civil Litigation and Health Care Law.
