Ms. McLachlan joined the firm in 2011. She focuses her practice on representing health care providers in civil actions before state and federal courts as well as defending providers before the Board of Registration in Medicine and other regulatory agencies and medical societies. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McLachlan was an associate at Regan and Kiely, a civil litigation firm specializing in the defense of professional, products, and general insurance liability matters, including allegations of dental malpractice.
Ms. McLachlan received her BA degree from Clarke University and her Juris Doctor degree from the New England Law | Boston. While at the New England Law, Ms. McLachlan participated in the Honors Moot Court program and was twice awarded the Public Interest Law Association Grant, which allowed her to intern in the District Attorney's Office for Suffolk County, Massachusetts and at the Criminal Division of the New York Legal Aid Society in Manhattan, NY. She also served as an attorney for AmeriCorps, providing legal assistance to indigent clients.
Ms. McLachlan is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First District. Ms. McLachlan is a member of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and has served as a volunteer for the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Dial-a-Lawyer program.
